Dear Guest,
Our goal is to ensure that your stay / event at our accommodation takes place in the best possible order, to everyone’s satisfaction, and ends as a joyful experience. To achieve this, we kindly and respectfully ask for your cooperation and for careful compliance with the following rules.
General information about the accommodation – As we give it to you, that is how we would like to receive it back!
ÉletMagTár is a forest-based, rural, eco-friendly accommodation with its own natural energy and environmental characteristics, and therefore has its own unwritten rules that differ from urban conditions and expectations. We kindly ask you to respect the possibilities and limits of the place so that both you and the guests arriving after you may fully enjoy their rest.
The garden, with its flowers, lawn and shrubs, forms an essential and living part of the accommodation’s character and also serves as a recreational space. Its preservation, cleanliness and protection are our shared responsibility. Please also make sure to collect and dispose of dog waste properly.
Any damage caused to the environment will be charged.
WiFi
A WiFi system operates in the guesthouses, and its use is free of charge.
The guest receives the WiFi password at check-in, at the same time as receiving the keys.
Please also note that due to the characteristics of the location, mobile signal and internet strength may vary.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire area of the guesthouse and its surroundings (11 hectares).
Smoking indoors is strictly forbidden.
The designated smoking area is the immediate vicinity of the fire pit.
Smoking in any non-designated area will result in a EUR 250 compensation fee.
Check-in / Check-out
Arrival: between 15:00 and 19:00
Departure: until 10:00
If you wish to arrive or depart outside these times, please notify us in advance by e-mail or phone (at least 48 hours beforehand).
In the event of departure before the agreed time, the accommodation fee will not be refunded.
In case of late departure (after 11:00), an additional fee will be charged.
Payment
To reserve and finalize the accommodation, payment of a 50% deposit and a security deposit is required. The security deposit is EUR 250 / apartment. The reservation becomes final after the deposit and the security deposit have been paid.
Please note that from 01.01.2026, a tourist tax of EUR 0.75 / night / person over 18 years of age must be paid at the accommodation.
Payment options: cash payment on site; bank transfer; SZÉP card transfer (OTP, K&H, MKB MBH).
The accommodation accepts SZÉP cards.
Room key
Guests receive a house key upon registration. In the event of losing the key, a compensation fee will be charged at departure.
Value of lost key: EUR 7.50
Lock replacement cost: EUR 20.00
Fire safety
Guests are not allowed to heat the stoves, fireplace or hot tub. These may only be heated and handled by the guesthouse staff upon prior request.
Guests may use the fire pit, oven and wood-burning stove (“sparhelt”), but this must be agreed upon in advance with the guesthouse staff.
In case of fire, immediately begin emergency action using the fire extinguisher located in the apartments or on the event terrace, call the fire brigade at 112, and then notify the accommodation provider.
Cooking in a cauldron and grilling on the disc grill are available free of charge at the designated fire pit in suitable, non-windy weather conditions, using the free firewood provided.
Drug use
The use of drugs is prohibited throughout the entire area of the guesthouse and its surroundings.
The consumption of drugs in the apartments or anywhere outdoors on the property is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate expulsion from the accommodation.
Arrival at ÉletMagTár Guesthouse under the influence of drugs will result in the immediate removal of the guest(s). The accommodation fee will not be refunded.
We do not accept responsibility for damages caused while under the influence of drugs. Any damage caused will be charged to the person or persons responsible.
Meals
Home-style breakfast can be ordered in advance from an external service provider for EUR 7.50 / person.
Both apartments have a well-equipped living room with an American-style kitchen.
The summer kitchen is equipped, among other things, with: oven, wood-burning stove, electric oven, gas cooker, dishwasher, double sink, large refrigerator, kettle, and kitchenware.
Cleaning
The accommodation fee includes cleaning after departure, and in the case of stays longer than one week, weekly linen change and cleaning, as well as final cleaning.
Pets
We do our best to provide comfort for pets; however, we cannot assume any responsibility for them.
Any damage caused by pets must be compensated by the owner.
The property is fenced, but this does not guarantee that pets will remain within the enclosed area; we cannot take responsibility for escapes.
There may be electric current in the fence; touching it is prohibited.
Pets may stay indoors only in the pet-friendly rooms.
Pet-friendly rooms: Lakeview Apartment – living room; Lakeview Apartment – Vintage bedroom.
In non-pet-friendly indoor areas, the cleaning fee after pets is EUR 125 per room, plus any damage caused, which must be paid by the pet owner.
The accommodation is pet-friendly; however, the owner is obliged to supervise the pet continuously and carefully collect its waste and place it in a separate bin.
Furniture and equipment
The price includes utilities and other overhead costs, bed linen with covers, towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and a tea and coffee welcome set.

In frost-free weather, our charming summer terrace and experience kitchen provide true relaxation.

Please preserve cleanliness and the condition of the equipment when using the grapevine-covered summer terrace and kitchen. Our summer terrace has a capacity of 40 people.
Please feel free to use and move the objects, but we would like to receive everything back the way it was handed over to you.
The outdoor toilet and shower next to the event terrace are open to all our guests. We recommend using them in the case of larger groups. These outdoor washrooms and toilets are not heated. In winter, tempering is maintained at 8–12°C to prevent the pipes from freezing. Turning the heater to a higher temperature is strictly forbidden, as it overloads the electrical system and may cause prolonged power outages and other damages. If this happens, the resulting inconvenience may last for several days until the issue is resolved, as this is a rural location, and all financial and other consequences will be charged to the guest responsible for the damage.
We are happy to provide facilities for cauldron cooking and disc grilling.
For our ping-pong table, we provide paddles, balls and a net.
There is also darts on our summer terrace.
Sun loungers and a covered wooden swing bed in the garden invite you to relax.
There is a play castle and swings for small children.
Apartment capacities
Lakeview Apartment:
A 2-bedroom, large glass-fronted living-dining apartment designed for 7 (6+1) persons, with two shower bathrooms and toilet. Every room has both a tiled stove and a heating-cooling air-conditioning system. Upon departure, please make sure that plates, cutlery and other equipment are complete for the proper number of guests.
Panorama Apartment layout:
6+2 persons (attic), with separate entrance. Living room with American-style kitchen and canopy double bed, two bedrooms, one shower bathroom with toilet. Every room is equipped with heating-cooling air-conditioning.
Parking
Our guesthouse provides free, enclosed parking for staying guests.
The price includes parking within the fenced area.
Sauna and bubbling hot tub – House rules for the wellness service
Use of the wellness area is subject to a separate daily fee.
We provide sauna towels and essential oils.
You will find benches and sun loungers next to the hot tub.
By using the sauna, the hot tub, and the related infrastructure (cabin, shower, equipment; hereinafter referred to as the “wellness area”), you as a guest accept the following conditions:
The wellness area may only be used at your own risk.
We cannot assume responsibility for accidents or inconveniences arising during use of the hot tub or sauna (such as slipping or catching a cold).
The hot tub may only be heated by the guesthouse staff. Please indicate your request in advance, and we will heat the tub for you, even several times during your stay.
Food and drinks may not be brought into the wellness area.
Smoking is prohibited in the wellness area.
Pets are not allowed in the wellness area.
Entry into the wellness area is only permitted barefoot or in clean slippers.
Before using the wellness area, please take a shower. The sauna shower has been created instead of a cold plunge bath. Please use the shower only with clean water, without sunscreen, shower gel, etc., because the water flows into the lake, where rare animals live.
It is forbidden to remove the plug from the hot tub.
The cushions for the wellness benches can be found in the entrance area of the sauna.
After use, please:
- switch off the sauna heating
- switch off the circulation system of the hot tub
- switch off the lights
- return the cushions of the wellness benches to the inside of the cabin
- close the windows and doors
- cover the hot tub
- before departure, place the sauna sheets in the wire laundry basket located in the sauna
Any damage caused must be compensated by the person responsible.
If the water in the hot tub is contaminated, a EUR 125 cleaning fee will be charged.
If several independent groups are staying in the accommodation (apartments) at the same time, the sauna and the hot tub may be used in 2-hour shifts, based on prior arrangement.
Please inform us of your sauna and hot tub requests at least 3 days before arrival.
Additional information
The accommodation / event venue may only be used at your own risk.
Please note that we do not assume responsibility for any accidents occurring at the event venues (falling into the water, slipping, falling from swings or the children’s play castle, burns from the fire pit or oven, other injuries).
In the event of such incidents involving minors, responsibility lies with the accompanying parent / adult.
We cannot assume responsibility for possible theft either.
Guests may use the sauna, hot tub and the furnishings of the event terrace at their own risk.
Domestic animals (cats, runner ducks) are also present on the property, and their separation can only be partially ensured.
The lake and the island area may only be approached and entered at your own risk.
Compensation for any damage caused must be paid by the person responsible.
Guests may use the accommodation only with the number of persons agreed in advance.
The accommodation provider does not assume responsibility for any material damages or accidents resulting from improper use.
Guests bear financial responsibility for any damage caused by improper use, and the damage must be paid directly to the accommodation provider or deducted from the security deposit.
Violation of the house rules may result in expulsion; theft of objects, vandalism or other misconduct may entail further action.
You will find a small first-aid kit in the apartments and in the event terrace area. In case of a more serious emergency, call 112.
House rules for the use of furnishings and equipment – thank you for your cooperation!
Please use all furnishings properly and as intended. It is forbidden to remove any furnishings or equipment from the rooms, including towels, blankets, bed linen, etc.
When leaving the apartment, the received air-conditioning remote/control must be returned, and the doors and windows must be closed at the same time.
Use of the air conditioner (cooling-heating air conditioning) is permitted only while staying in the apartment, with doors and windows closed.
When leaving the room, please make sure that the air conditioning and lights are switched off and the taps are closed.
If you notice any malfunction, please report it to the contact person immediately; we are unable to accept complaints afterwards.
